DEEP EXFOLIATION AT HOME - HYDROPEPTIDE POWER PEEL

It has been a while that I have been wanting to sit down and write a blog post sharing my skin care journey,  cause it has been quite a journey recently‼

For my entire adulthood, I have had an okay skin. I’ve never really dealt with serious breakouts and skin issues, and majority of the times, I have felt confident being seen without makeup. This was pretty much my entire life up until earlier this year 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣

I am not quite sure what happened but my skin started acting weird and earlier this year I noticed that my normally okay skin was not okay anymore. It became so flaky and dry that I could barely touch it or feel any softness specially on my forehead, cheeks and under jaws. It got so bad that I could also see visible signs of redness on my forehead, and nose area all the time.

All spas being closed during pandemic, I was looking for a way to get a deep exfoliation and chemical peel done at home to get rid of all the dead cells and improve my skin texture. Doing a Google search and reading raving reviews for Hydropeptide 5X Power Peel Face Exfoliator, I was convinced to give it a try and experiment.
These effective peel pads with just the right amount of gentle exfoliation whisk away dead skin cells and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while boosting collagen and cell renewal. These vegan peels have been gentle enough for my daily application and won't leave skin red or irritated. It has truly performed wonders for my skin 👍🏻 I could eventually say I’m on the road to recovery. First of all, I’ve noticed less redness and a smoother skin texture, plus overall my skin looks a lot more even. Obviously It is so frustrating to feel like you have to put on foundation just to hide the redness on your face... I’m happy to finally see I’ve made progress 🙌🏻
As we speak, once or twice a week after washing my face, I gently exfoliate my skin right before applying a serum or moisturizer. This helps peel off dead skin cells so my skin can absorb all the ingredients from subsequent products and enhances treatment delivery.
Same goes for my body, I usually brush my skin in an upward motion with a dry brush once a week before taking a shower 🛀🏻 and right after a relaxing shower I usually apply a clay mask as the pores are completely opened by the steam 👌🏻
